Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our Czech entity in Ceske Budejovice. Reporting to the European Financial Controller, this role is vital for maintaining our client's financial integrity and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a certified accountant, knowledgeable in Czech financial reporting regulations, fluent in English, and proficient with a financial software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial activities within the Czech entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Supervise financial accounting processes, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Manage cash flow and banking relationships, optimizing cash management strategies.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
• Build strong finance partnerships with operational and functional leaders.
• Stay informed about changes in local financial regulations and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Czech financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with financial software systems, particularly Helios and Dynamics 365.
