Senior Financial Accountant
Join our dynamic international team with offices in Brno and London. This hands-on role involves overseeing financial operations and driving process improvements across multiple entities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Finance team and provide leadership during interim and annual audits.
- Ensure accurate accounting records and monthly financial reports.
- Maintain compliance with IFRS.
- Prepare reports, balance sheets, and financial statements.
- Manage creditor relationships and payments.
- Coordinate intercompany reconciliations.
- Assist the Financial Controller with projects and ad-hoc tasks.
- Handle cost accruals, journal entries, and intercompany adjustments.
- Manage vendor payments and cash flow.
- Ensure tax compliance.
- Prepare statutory financial statements.
- Support junior team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- ACCA qualification is a plus.
- Min. 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within an international environment
- Strong understanding of financial close processes and multi-currency accounting.
- Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Team player with ability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in English and Czech.
