Technical Writer and Support Specialist

Job description

An EU-based fintech company is expanding its development hub in Prague. Specializing in innovative software solutions for online merchants and businesses, it collaborates with European banks and global payment institutions to provide comprehensive online payments, card services, and crypto solutions.

As a Technical Writer and Support Specialist, you will create and maintain documentation for both internal and external use. This includes documenting system processes, case studies, and interactions. Additionally, you will provide first-line support to clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Document Creation: Develop and update internal documentation (system processes, case studies) and external user guides (manuals, FAQs).
  • Collaboration: Work with development and product teams to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Support: Address client inquiries and issues, ensuring documentation is clear and user-friendly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly update documentation based on feedback and stay current with industry trends.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years as a Technical Writer or similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tools: Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Markdown) and familiarity with support ticketing systems.
  • Bonus: Experience in technical support or customer service.
