Your responsibilities:
- Support a restricted customer with application maintenance and support for third-party applications and the integrated landscape for data analysts. Supported applications are deployed on a Kubernetes platform and on Linux VMs.
- Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and support the data science engineer super users.
- Manage customer interaction and the technology diversity of third-party components deployed on Kubernetes.
- Communicate with the vendor managing data centers and VMs.
- Troubleshoot and solve incidents.
- Monitor processes during their entire lifecycle for adherence, updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing waste.
- Provide technical DevOps consultancy, advising customers on their DevOps journey and implementing necessary tooling and techniques.
Your qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in a technical/engineering position such as DevOps engineer, SRE, software engineer, software developer, operations engineer, automation engineer, or similar.
- Experience with some of the following: Kubernetes, GitLab, GitOps, OpenShift, Helm, ArgoCD for Kubernetes, Rancher, Terraform, Ansible.
- Scripting experience in one of the following: PowerShell, Bash, Jsonnet.
- Experience with Linux administration/patching and Docker for containerization and packaging applications.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Curious, eager to learn new things, responsible, and a team player.
- Ability to reconcile the concepts of Agile, ITIL, and DevOps within both a technical and business context.
