What You'll Do:
- Craft & Maintain: Design and develop powerful data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Integrate & Transform: Utilize Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for seamless data integration.
- Architect: Implement and manage Data Vault and Business Vault architectures.
- Query Master: Develop and optimize SQL queries for insightful data extraction.
- Model & Analyze: Perform data modeling and create data marts to fuel business intelligence.
- Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to understand and meet data needs.
- Ensure Quality: Uphold data integrity and security across all processes.
- Mentor: Provide guidance and support to junior data engineers.
Must-Haves:
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Data Vault and Business Vault methodologies.
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and data transformation techniques.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and analysis.
- Proven experience in developing data marts and reports.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
- Familiarity with GenAI on Databricks and machine learning concepts.
- Knowledge of finance and insurance domains.
- Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to IFRS 17 reporting is a bonus!
