Our client, who specializes in the refund and pre-financing of foreign VAT and fuel taxes for European and non-European road carriers, is looking for a senior PHP developer with experience in the Symfony framework.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features
- Write clean and efficient code using best software development practices
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Perform testing and debugging of code
- Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting
- Participate in project planning and estimation processes
Requirements:
- 3+ years of practical experience in PHP backend development
- Intermediate level frontend skills, including React Experience with Docker usage
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and MySQL
- Good understanding of Symfony framework
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience with software testing and debugging techniques
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
