Job description:
On behalf of an American group owning iconic brands of consumer products, we are currently looking for a Revenue Accountant to join their business administrative hub based in Prague. The revenue accountant’s duties involve overseeing, documenting, and reporting revenue streams in line with the company's standards, timely account reconciliation, producing comprehensive reports, and analysing financial data to assist company leaders in making well-informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close activities including posting journal entries and reconcile B/S accounts
- Review “Invoice-to-Net” P&L accounts to identify trends, errors, omissions and collaborate with Finance partners.
- Consolidate B/S positions, flag deviations, and propose adjustments.
- Maintain and update customer program terms and data forms.
- Build and maintain databases for EMEA standardization.
- Serve as the primary contact for audit requests
- Rebuild and standardize processes, support company initiatives, and maintain rebate functionality.
- Maintain standard operating procedures, train new team members.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Degree in finance/accounting, economics or similar
- 3 years of experience in accounting (international environment)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls
- Experience with SAP and Blackline (or comparable)
- Good visualization and understanding of the P&L and B/S and the associated posting impacts.
- Familiar with audit processes
- Able to prepare, read and translate the financial data to business managers.
