A leading Smart Data Analytics Platform for Financial Services is seeking a Senior Data Engineer. You’ll integrate diverse data sources, structure and validate unstructured data, and leverage advanced analytics and machine learning for actionable insights. You’ll design, implement, and optimize data pipelines, develop data models, and build back-end services to support data science teams. Additionally, you’ll automate workflows, integrate systems, and create powerful analytics solutions.
Role Overview: As a Team Lead / Senior Data Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and optimize data engineering pipelines and services.

- Make a significant technical and leadership impact.
Desired Skills:
- Strong educational background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including data warehousing, ETL, automation, cloud technologies, or Software Engineering in data-related areas.
- Proficiency in Python (experience with Rust or C# is a plus).
- Experience with data processing tools (Polars, Pandas, Apache Ray) and data storage technologies (S3, Apache Iceberg, DuckDB, Clickhouse, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of workflow orchestration (Apache Airflow) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Leadership and mentoring experience, cross-functional collaboration skills.
