Senior FP&A Analyst
Location: Praha - Karlin (hybrid working, 2 days from home/ 3 days from the office)

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to support our client in Prague. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will lead the initiatives to manage and analyse sales cost trends, optimize headcount, and focus on personnel costs. In this key role, you will work closely with senior leadership to forecast workforce requirements, develop detailed cost management strategies, and deliver insightful analyses of sales costs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and business modelling skills.
Senior Financial Analyst responsibilities:
- Act as the Headcount data expert on HR systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, and Anaplan.
- Serve as the Finance Personnel cost expert, tracking dynamics across various periods and scenarios.
- Transform conversations with HR partners into user-friendly data tools accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with Finance and Sales management on workforce planning assumptions for headcount and personnel costs.
- Enhance sales cost efficiency by optimizing headcount ratios, such as Core to Overlay mix across teams and regions.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to convert data into valuable insights. Report and create business metrics to facilitate efficient decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies in the HC/Personnel cost area.
- Prepare monthly actuals vs. budget analysis, including variance analysis, and review with business partners.
- Upload budget and update forecast data in Anaplan (our forecasting system).
- Analyze risk and opportunity profiles to drive cost optimization and business growth.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A, with advanced proficiency in complex financial modeling and predictive data analytics highly desired.
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and challenging the status quo to drive change and process improvement.
- General understanding of headcount-related cost components, including both business and financial fundamentals.
- Ability to handle highly confidential HR information professionally and compliantly.
- Extensive experience with systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Salesforce, Anaplan, NetSuite, SAP, Snowflake, Tableau, or similar, along with high-level expertise in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
- Proficiency in SQL or database programming languages is a plus.
- Experience in technology industries, sales finance, or sales operations is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaborative, and a strong team player.
- BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA is a plus.
