Responsibilities:

  • Perform data integrity checks and cleansing for material, customer, and vendor master data (SAP-BP).
  • Ensure high data quality through completeness and plausibility checks with global business units.
  • Drive master data projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain data corrections using technical and manual procedures (e.g., SAP, AI tools).
  • Design and maintain BOMs in coordination with product development and operations.
  • Improve master data lifecycle and change management processes.
  • Establish KPIs to track master data services progress.
  • Evaluate and implement data standards based on business needs.
  • Provide master data expertise and technical support for mass data uploads in SAP.
  • Coordinate with external cleansing agencies.
  • Develop instructions, standards, and training materials.
  • Coordinate the MDM Shared Service Center.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in business informatics, IT, or related field with a passion for master data.
  • Professional experience as a Master Data Manager.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise between technology and business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of ERP (SAP) systems and master data connections, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG.
  • Knowledge of business processes (OTC/PTP) and MDM systems (SD/MM).
  • Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Accurate and team-oriented working method.
  • Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
