For a respected international company, I am looking for an experienced Global Sourcing Specialist with experience in sourcing factory machines and related maintenance, repairs and operations category.

Your goal in this position:

• Oversee global sourcing within the assigned category and region.
• Set strategy and communicate it to local strategic buyers.

👉🏻 Category: MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) - including CAPEX machinery (e. g. CNC, milling machines, turning machines, grinding machines, injection moulding, lathes, drills, fluids, tools, and equipment.

👉🏻 Region: Worldwide, especially Europe (Germany, France, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Manage global strategic procurement in the MRO field.
• Stay informed about the global market within your category.
• Develop both global and regional strategies based on defined goals and requirements.
• Ensure adherence to the established strategy.
• Select suppliers, monitor their performance, and foster their development.
• Negotiate terms and contracts.
• Conduct analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Visit suppliers and facilities, primarily within Europe (20-30%).

What you need for this role:

• Experience in strategic procurement and a global environment.
• Experience with CAPEX machinery procurement and Industrial MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) category.
• Fluent English (for communication within the international team and negotiations).
• Excellent communication skills, both with suppliers and internally.
• High level of self-motivation, organization, and independence for remote collaboration.
