On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a general ledger accountant to join their business administrative hub based in Prague. If you speak English and French, and if you have GL accounting experience, then surely keep reading. Your main role will be to ensure timely and accurate reporting of the balance sheet and act as an expert in technical accounting. You will also support the team with integration of new processes.

Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset additions.
- Review monthly account reconciliations for cash, accrued liabilities, and prepaid expenses.
- Analyze P&L accounts for trends, errors, and omissions.
- Maintain Customer program subledgers and collaborate with business finance.
- Support General Ledger team during closing processes.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and process improvements.
- Train and support new team members for smooth transitions.
Requirements:
- min. 3 years of experience in GL accounting
- Familiarity with US GAAP, SOX, SAP
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and processes
- Educational background in Finance/Accounting
- Advanced knowledge of English (B2 min.) and French (B2+)
